I'd Miss You Even If I'd Never Met You (Some won't make sense as it's personal to me and my boyfriend- I wrote this for our 2 year anniversary) Our first encounter was at the Hut, I knew I loved you 'cause I felt it in my gut. I never believed in love at first sight, But you lit up the room and shined so bright. You charmed your way right into my heart, And took control of every body part. I was yours and now I always will be, I'm sorry to tell you - you're stuck with me. 2 years have gone and it's been the best, 730 days of me being a pest. Mine (A quick one I wrote while I was missing my boyfriend) There's so many memories ill always keep, like the way you look when you're fast asleep. Even the way you shout when you're mad, And the way you stutter when you're sad. A thousand suns don't compare to your smile, I can't wait to see it shining when I walk down the aisle. Your sillyness is something I'll always love, You get embarrassed and shy but it's to be proud of. So what I'm saying is - never stop being mine, I wanna spend the rest of my #life seeing that smile shine.

Grandad This is the #poem I wrote myself to read out at my Grandad's funeral tomorrow. (Some things are personal, so might not make sense) A man of selfless acts, time and again. A man with bold words, no hesitation or refrain. A loving family, always by his side. All sat here, all teary eyed. He cared a lot, and we did too. Never wanted much, always said 'I'll make do'. He brought us up, played horsey on his knee. He cheered us up, he cooked us tea. His sprouts were the best, nothing compared, His puddings too, with mash he paired. A brave man, we will never forget. He wouldn't want tears, so please don't fret. In his lovers arms, reunited at last. Still missing her, as 45 years passed. He's in a better place, so it's time for good bye. They'll be watching over us, from way up high. Rest In Peace x x
