Look Up. I'm not confident enough, To answer your cat calls, And when I hear one, Even not for me, I don't look up at all, I'm shy and everyone knows it, I keep my head down a lot, But still they try, And still they fail, But it's nice that they gave it a shot, See, my insecurities run deeper, Than people shouting, "what's up?!", I can't talk to guys in general, It's true, I know I'll just clam up, So you might be thinking, "It's easy! Just flash them your fabulous grin!" Except that's a part of the problem, Braces don't pull guys in, I've always struggled with weight loss too, And I know people say sometimes, Than real men like their girls curvy, With a va va voom behind, But that definitely isn't the case, Though I have no experience as yet, I've never had someone interested, But never will I forget... When I was just five I took ballet, And, boy, did I love to dance, But my teacher told me I was too fat, And that really broke my heart, From then my confidence has spiralled, Too far away to retrieve, To even think about intimacy, Is just not a thought I conceive, It's hurts to think that one day, The perfect guy will say, "what's up?!" And I'll just keep on walking, Because I can never look up.
