MMOmance - Ch. 1 - Dejukiwa I'm a popular girl at school. I have lots of friends, a cute, adorable boyfri-... Ah. Who am I kidding? I'm a loner. I go to school 5 days a week to get bored learning about the 'important things you'll use in everyday #life', you know, like... uh... To be honest I can't think of anything I've learned recently that I'd need to know. I'm a bit of a geek myself. I spend my free time on the computer either playing games, messing about and watching silly videos on YouTube or programming silly little programs. My looks? You want to know what horrible thing I see staring back at me when I look in the mirror? Ok, we'll If you say so. I'm quite short for a 14 year old girl. Maybe the smallest in my class. And to be honest I'm a bit like a stereotypical nerd. I wear glasses and have braces. I mean, what else is there to know about me? It's not like my real looks matter anyway. It's about my character's looks in my favourite game, Dejukiwa. I have no idea why it's called that but the game's a lot better than it sounds. It's quite new. Everybody's dying to get their hands on it. Actually, it's rumoured that a few lucky people managed to get their hands on closed beta keys to test the game out for bugs and such. I doubt that's true though. The devs at ExtraMileGames (the company who own Dejukiwa) are very strict about leaking screenshots and videos of their games early, let alone giving out early access to it. All testing is normally done by their huge group of game devs. The game came out 2 days ago. I managed to get my hands on one of the first copies. ExtraMileGames have actually hidden secret items in certain copies of the game box. So if people bought it in stores rather than digitally downloading it, they could win a prize. Nobody really knows what the items do, and if they're weapons, how strong they are. The items given to the players apparently cannot be seen or used until 2 weeks after the game's launch. After I bought the game I literally ran home to quickly install the game onto my hard drive! It was a huge game but that's because of all of the really cool features in it. I won't spoil what they are. Then I just had to sit there and stare at the blue loading bar, slowly creeping its way across my screen.
MMOmance - Introduction This is in no way part of the story - just a short summary of what I'm going to write about and who I am. First of all: I'd just like to say I'm only 14 so don't expect my spelling or grammar to be top notch. If you don't like the story(/ies) I write; just simply *don't read them!* Enough about me and the nonsense, here's what my story is 'based off of' and what it's going to be about. A 'blurb' if you will. It's going to be based off of true events which (most likely) happen in real #life. Some inspiration is going to be taken from my experience on a site called Omegle, where you get to talk to strangers anonymously. Except it's not going to be on Omegle. It's going to be on a MMO (massively multiplayer online) game. If you don't know or understand MMOs, I recommend you don't read the story as you will probably not understand the idea behind it all. I'm not sure when I'll start writing this. Just in my free time I guess. I'm going to split it into chapters, not write it all at once. The story is about two players on a MMO game who fall in love. I'll stop with this now and start working on the story. I hope to see you soon. (;
