#depression The black hole, it swallows me. The tight grip on my consciousness. I've let it take me over. #depression. It won't let me go, that monster. It leaves me as an empty shell, dragging me down. I've let it take me over. #depression. How do I escape? It has me on my knees. Begging for my consciousness back, but the monster has no compassion. I've let it take me over. #depression.

Genetic Warfare (fiction) I found out yesterday. I haven't dried my eyes since. There's no point. More tears, more and more and more, never ending streams of despair running down my stark, white cheeks. I've lost the battle. I can feel it, that desperate, hopelessness, knowing that I can't win. Knowing that this year will be my last. Genetic warfare. Cancer.

My First #haiku In case you think the following #poem seems underdeveloped, it consists of three #haiku's assembled into verses-- My dog, called Gracie, She bounds over our couches, Dance happily around. My dog, she's so fun, Always happier than me, Dance happily around. Tears flowed, she's gone now, And she took our hearts with her, We can't dance around.

Chin Up, Buttercup Chin up, shoulders back, Wipe those tears and get back on track. Smile, wave and wink with class. Then tell them all to kiss your ass.
