Deadlines Whenever there's a matter most pressing, I oftentimes find myself regressing From student to child, Brain gone wild, To avoid the workload so distressing.

Pruning New hobbies, new toys, And so involved in them, I become Unaware of other, former joys. The whole of me, after all, is the sum Of energy which can't be destroyed Or made.
