Sorry So about my last #poem, cotton flowers I know it was slightly depressing and probably not what some of you wanted to hear regarding #life after death. But you see, I wrote that #poem 15 minutes after I tried to overdose myself. So all I could think about was "what is #life after death?" And cotton flowers is what I'd like to imagine it being So I'm sorry if it struck a nerve for you or you lost someone due to suicide, I never intended for someone to feel hurt or upset Xoxo Claire

Cotton Flowers Staring at the ceiling, Empty pill bottle in hand, I feel myself slipping away, My fingertips turning blue, My skin feels like ice, But inside I feel warm All floaty and weightless I'm a cotton flower in the wind Escaping this dark realm of society Where I'm judged on how I walk, How I speak and how I look But not anymore Where I'm going, there'll be other cotton flowers In soft white clothes, sitting down Reading books about #life, and laughing, nostalgia lacing their voice Not resentment or anger But happiness, happy that they've found peace Happy that they've moved on Happy that it's over So they can move on to be cotton flowers, dancing in the wind

Decomposition There's blood running down my hands The knife curled around my fingers A stench in the air lingers My knees buckle and I can't stand As I fall on the decomposing man

Rainbows A rainbow has many colours ie, Red, orange, yellow, blue The same way my heart has many colours For when I'm around you Red for the anger, when you get me all riled up Orange for the peace, that you'll give in nights to come Yellow for the happiness, when you kiss me on the cheek Green for the envy, when you stare at her instead of me Blue for the sadness, what I feel when your not here Pink for the loved up feeling, for your fingers banishing my tears Violet for the flowers, you got your best friend to choose And purple for the bruises, you left so you knew what you would lose
