His kind words and gentle soul warmed my broken heart But our worlds were too far apart. We shared our love and smiled together Even if the future held dark weather. Emptiness Each passing moment my heart turns colder. As the sun sets in the west I feel the presence of emptiness. The dark shadow that lingers inside of me is the only one I have known. The night sky blackened for all eternity freezes any hope of emotion left." I miss him you know?" I let out a deep sigh as emptiness embraces me. "Here I stand alone again huh?" Emptiness chuckles and clings to me tighter. "You was always alone." Emptiness says in a soft voice. The wind blows ice across my heart, I fall to my knees and a silent scream pierces against the crimson sunset.

I'm lost I let him slip through my hands...I'm dying inside. I try to forget but the pain lingers inside. It reminds me of what I have done. How will I move on?

To You All To open your soul to such a vacant world, how lonely do we feel? Can the sweet scent of death linger on our tongue? Each tear that drops against the cold pathway we walk is lined with a thorny darkness that will soon bring us to endless torment. Each of us will pay for the sins of our fathers leaving us with a black void that swirls into a never ending cycle of despair. Until the moment someone grabs our hands and pulls us out of the clutches of a sunless sky. No matter the days that come and go there is but just a little strained of hope. This hope brings peace to our shattered souls. My only wish for all mankind is to find the hope inside of us. Never give in to the madness of the night and always dream for a garden full of flowers and the fragrance of spring to tickle your nose. We are each a lost soul looking for our place in this darkened world.

Venting I just honestly need to vent. I am sick of feeling so used and unappreciated. I am to the point where I want nothing to do with love or romance. I'm sick of living my #life and allowing others hurt me! You put all your trust into someone just for them to crush all hope of survival. I don't mean to sound like a cynical person, but I don't believe this "love" that you feel for a boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, is true and real. If love is real how come people can change their mind, how can someone wake up one morning and say "I'm done with all this"? Because the heart is a lair.
