I have a sense of humour and perspective about #life but since #life is an amazing opportunity for joy, I reflect and think about my #life and greatly value it. I try to ensure that my energies are balanced across the roles I have as an individual, partner, friend, brother and teacher. I greatly value the pursuit of wisdom through learning, listening and reflection. I derive great power from playing, listening to and writing music. I am always positive in my dealings with others, even when cynicism would achieve short-term gains. I always support other people in nurturing their interests. I consider with honesty what people say and try always to genuinely understand their perspective. I am open to engaging with unfamiliar ideas and am respectful of people who hold ideas that I disagree with. I try to be mindful of my own limited experience and considerable ignorance. I am always kind to others and am generous with my time. I focus on building good relationships rather than the efficient use of time. I am keen to always understand more about this amazing and complex world and greatly value the pursuit of wisdom.
