Part 2 - explain The next morning the girl sneaked out of her flat and there was the dog shay waiting for her round the corner "Hi I thought you wouldn't come out " said the dog sounding relieved " yeah , and I thought you wouldn't wait on me ... Thank you " whispered the girl giving shay I huge hug " awwww it's ..... It's fine .... We should get outta here we don't know when she might come back " whispered the dog pointing his paw round the corner While they were walking through the quiet and empty streets Katie felt a cold shiver down her spine and sniffed when the wind started to pick up " there's something not right about this .... Normally it's busy .... But no one is even here " shivered Katie now hugging herself with the freezing cold biting at her whole body . " stop ..." Whispered the dog sounding very commanding " w... What's wrong ? " asked Katie bending down to kneel right beside shay " do you hear that ? " asked shay standing up alert " hear what shay? I can't hear a thing " replied Katie looking very confused " stand still ..." Whispered the dog putting his paws over her ears " can you hear it now?" Asked shay " yeah ! It sound like screaming !" Shouted Katie " h....how did you do that? " " magic " said the dog lightly tapping his nose . The screaming was very high pitched and very alerting Katie nearly started crying it sounded very distressing " ok, Katie I've gave you the power of a dogs hearing sense use it wisely and whatever you do . Do not use it for your curiosity you know what happened to the cat" said shay sounding very serious The screaming was getting louder and shay backed away and behind him so did Katie they were both scared then suddenly the screaming stopped and everything went pitch black " RUN! " screamed shay taking Katie's hand and running away from the now fast spreading darkness ... END OF PART 2

It was December 23rd 2013 when a lonely stray dog strolled quietly along the streets of Glasgow . But the dog didn't seem sad or lonely it was strolling with its head held high as if he knew good would come soon . But there were footsteps and the dog froze , very light footsteps as if of a little child . The little girl emerged from the shadows in her dark ripped jacket , the girl looked about 12 and you could see by her appearance that she wasn't very looked after . The dog sulked and cuddled up to her , she looked surprised and she pet the dog . And for the first time in a long time this girl had the brightest smile on her face . "What's your name little doggy ? " said the girl she had a voice as smooth as silk and as comforting as a pillow "My name is shay , what's your name ? " said the little dog The girl stopped patting the dog and rubbed her eyes and stared at the dog sitting I front of her "D...did you just speak to me ! " asked the girl "Yeah! Sure did , and as I was saying what is your name ?" Asked the dog tilting his head to the Side . "W....wow! You c...can talk! This is amazing ...... " the smile on the girls face dropped . " no , no Katie your just imagining it it's not real dogs can't talk?!" The girl whispered to herself " no, no, Katie us dogs can talk if we want all of us can but we just choose weather the human is ready for us to speak out " whispered the dog now standing up on his two back feet . The girl was amazed , shocked and curios she had too many questions to ask this dog that she was just speechless " em shay , if all dogs can talk can other animals talk too and can they read minds and can they....." Shay interrupted Katie " wow wow! Slow down your busting my brain here . Right ok, no not all animals can talk because they probably don't have the right magic and no we can't read people's mind " whispered the dog The girl was amazed , " wow! Wait, you said magic ! So there's magic out there too ? " asked the girl now completely staring at the dog in amazement suddenly they heard heavy footsteps coming towards them and a shout so demanding the dog lay down and stare in fear "Katie ! Katie! Come here right now you stupid little girl! See when I find you you are going to pay ! " the woman sounded very very angry Suddenly the girl started to weep quietly and the dog cuddled up against her . She had to go so she whispered to the dog " thank you I have to go please wait for me " The dog just stared at he fearing what she had to put up with all the dog could do was watch and listen to what the woman was shouting at little Katie .
