The Firework Baby Ever since I was born I was fascinated by them. I loved the loud bangs and the way they shattered to a billion pieces. This year it was a billion and one... "Crystal! Crystal! Look up! It's the big one!" that was my best friend Daniel. Danny for short. He, like me, loved fireworks! "Eek!" I squeaked looking into the dark skies above my house. We were sat on my flat roof. We always sit there on bonfire night- it was our thing. 'Boom!' The firework was blue, it split and fell to the ground. Except for one piece. "Bloody hell! My head! Arghh! Get it OFF! Now!" Danny screamed shaking his head like a maniac. "Shhh Dan," I whispered. It was a tiny a bug. It was blue like the firework and hot like it too. I put it in a jar and sat it in front of us. "Could it be a-". I began. "A Placartion Firebug?" "Must be!" These were sent from hell. They appear as a firework and come to earth. Then the good ones go to heaven. This one was going to go to heaven if its the last thing I do! I opened the jar. "Jump!" I demanded. Nothing. "Jump!" I repeated. Still nothing. "Very well then Hell Bug!" I screamed as I threw it into space. It fell back on Danny's head... "Give up, Cryst," Danni smiled. I smiled back and lay it down. We all went to sleep then. For ages! When i woke up I searched for my bug everywhere. "Crystal, it's up there!" Danny smiled pointing to the blue sky and the white clouds. "Good," I smiled sighing. Where he belongs.

I sat up and looked around. I saw Leroy kneeling next to Bethany. Looking away I could see no one else. "Your awake!" he smiled, kissing his sisters head and walking over to me. "Where's my dad?" I asked. "Well. My family were going Austria too. I couldn't tell you though- it would ruin the surprise! Anyway, everyone went. Even Holly!" "What- what-what about Bethany?" I asked. "She's a bit... A bit... Beth only has a 29% chance of surviving. She had heart failure and it was temporarily fixed," he explained. "What about me?" I asked. "Well, your fine! Now... Before, you were knocked out by Beth's head. And your leg has tire marks on it... It's a bit squished... Still okay for skiing," he winked lying down next to me. "What? We're still skiing? What about Beth?" "We will have to see... She can come. If she makes it," "WHEN, Leroy. When she comes to, she can come," I smiled. He smiled at me. I kissed him on his lips and he kissed me back. I loved him <3. "Who am I?" Beth giggled. "Beth?" Leroy screamed running over. "Beth?" "That's your name. Bethany," "Shall I get a nurse, Leroy?" I asked. "Yes please," Leroy smiled. "Leroy?" Beth giggled again. "Yep. I'm your brother. Leroy!" "That's a teddy bear name! Who's that?" "That's my girlfriend her names CiCi. She's my dads friends daughter as well," "TMI! Leroy, I don't really care!" "Cheeky madam!" A nurse came and checked Bethany over and we were soon ready to go. ONE DAY LATER We were getting onto the plane tomorrow. It was complicated to book and we knew that, with Beth, the checking in would be the same... 2 DAYS LATER We had just got our luggage and were ready to leave the airport. "Carry me!" Beth moaned. The flight was long and only Leroy had gotten to sleep. "I'll get Beth and you push the luggage cart," I smiled lifting her up. I carried her to the taxi bay where Leroy had booked us in. When it pulled up we gave him the address and got in the back. Beth slept whilst me and her brother chatted about the snow and other scenery. "It's really beautiful!" I laughed looking at two robins 'reproducing'... "Like you," Leroy replied. I may have only been 14 but, right now, I felt a lot older! Probably because I had to be... "Thanks Leroy," I smiled. "We be here Madam," the driver said in a weird Irish accent. Strange for saying we were in Austria. Haha. We thanked the taxi driver and he helped us get our bags out. We waved him off and pushed our cases up to the front door. We were stopping in a villa this holiday. It was really nice. There was a games room, a pool, two living rooms, two dining rooms, five bedrooms and a huge kitchen! Well, that's what the brochure said, anyway. I knocked. After a few minutes of waiting I lifted up the door mat. "What the hell Sienna! How did you know there would be a key there?" Leroy asked. I unlocked the door and wheeled the cases in. "Well," I began taking off my shoes and flopping on the sofa, "when I was 8 (when we lived in another part of the state. Not a farm) I was sat at the front door waiting for my mum to come home from the shops. I was locked out and had just come home from school. A man walked by. He smiled at me. I weakly smiled back. He pulled me into the garden and... Raped me. Since then my dad has always left a spare key under the door mat. Everywhere we go!" SRY IT WAS UR MUMS FAULT XXXXX Aww! Dad! I replied: CHEERS DAD JUST ARRIVED BETH HAVING OWN ROOM AND ME AND LEROY SHARING... K? LOVE FROM CICI SEE U SOON DADDY XXXXX Ahhh. I walked into the bedroom and got into my pyjamas. Leroy was already in the double bed. "Come on Cici!" He winked pointing to the space next to him. I got in with him and we snuggled up to each other. I loved my #life right now! Only one thing I could say: they others are getting a mouthful when we see them!

Lost In The Snow Chapter 6 <~> "Look there's a park!" Beth giggled when we arrived. Sure enough, the pub had its own play area behind. "Toby, me and Leroy are taking Beth on the park," I smiled. "Ok sweetie," he replied, walking, with everyone else, into the pub. "Come on Bethy boo!" I giggled taking her hand and pulling her to the park. She settled herself on the slide so I went and sat with Leroy. "Hey," I smiled taking his hand. "Hiya," he smiled back, putting his arm around my shoulders. "Let's play football!" Beth giggled, skipping over with a tattered one. "Beth?" Leroy asked sternly. "It's out of the bush! Your such a worry guts Leroy!" We began to kick the ball about. Leroy on his own- against me and Beth. "I'll get it!" Beth giggled. I wish she saw it. "Beth no!" I screamed. I ran after her. The car was speeding. I tried to pull her out. Through out this Leroy was shouting at us to come. But it was too late. There was no time to get out of the way. It hit us. "Brace for impact," I whispered. That was the last thing I could remember. LEROYS POV The car stopped. After it hit them! I ran out screaming into the road. The man got out- clearly drunk. "Road kill!" He slurred. I pushed him out of the way and ordered one of the people in the growing crowd, to call an ambulance. I lay next to my girls, they did nothing wrong! My #life could be over...
