The Chase- Part 4 Knife in hand. Ready for the death. He takes every step as slowly as he can- as if he's trying to inflict more pain than what is to come. I can see it in his eyes- he's won this time. There's no escape. Standing directly above, he does what he has been waiting 10 years to do- he takes the knife and stabs it straight into the centre of my heart. I scream. No-ones around to hear my cries. I roll around on the floor writhing in pain. He just observes- proud of what he has done. My school uniform; soaked in blood. I scream again. The pain was unendurable, torturous and excruciating. He walks away. Visions, sounds and senses become unrecognisable. The last memory I have is being held in my best friends arms as I take my final breaths.

The Chase- Part 3 The forest. My childhood nightmare of that one evening in July. I'd had an argument with my sister-Phoebe- and I'd told her that I hated her and that I couldn't care less if she was dead. After that, I ran away and found myself in this exact forest. But while I was here I encountered some vey nasty beasts. This is how I met The Chaser. I was the only prey to ever escape him and he want revenge. 10 years later and he still hasn't given up. As he emerges from the trees my heart beats faster. "Don't let hime know you're afraid" I tell myself. I staggered up and steadied myself. This could turn out a whole lot worse that last time. Then it was silent. Deathly silent. Why was he waiting this long? He raised his hand and his eyes became jet black colour. As his eyes were expanding in size, a gust of wind blew over the forest which knocked me off my feet once again. Pain shot up my arm faster than the speed of light. I was becoming more and more vulnerable as echo second past. At least this time there would be no aftermath. Would there?

The Chase- Part 2 I was going as fat as I could but my legs were becoming rapidly weak. He was speeding up. Getting closer until he was just inches away. My body trembled with fear. I was being to feel slightly unwell. My mind began to imagine I was falling and when I snapped back to reality I felt a stabbing pain on the back of my head. I looked around slowly, afraid of what I might see. And what I saw was a very familiar sight. A sight that over time I'd learnt to forget. A sight where all your darkest nightmares come alive...

The Chase- Part 1 80AM and I'm already late for school. "Bye mum!!" I shout before running out the door. As I close the door behind me I look across the road and he's there. How did he find me here? I'd moved out of California to avoid him in an attempt to keep my family safe! Stares. That's all he does. Stares. Knife in hand; ready to launch at any moment. He smiles- not a pleasant smile that you might exchange with friends but more of a sinister smile. He walks towards me, slowly. Thoughts are pounding through my head, getting louder the closer he gets. I run. Never stopping. Heart pounding so fast that I feared it might jump out of my chest. Lips bone dry from dehydration. This was really the wrong day for it to be warm! I glance behind, he's still there, waiting for me to stumble. Panting. Slowing. Need a rest. Go to keep going.....

Never Again How long did she have left? No blood pumping round her heart No air reaching her lungs Just a motionless body Her face; pale like ice The fever burning inside her Would she ever see the light of day again? The answer- no. Not in this form anyway
