The Moments He moved out. He was baffled and confused. She wanted no part of the empty promises and mumbled words that poured from his disgusting mouth. He made her rough around the edges and pushed her to be strong enough to finally stand up for herself. He had no idea there would be a day she would dare stand up to him. April 9, 2013 she stood toe to toe with all his hate and anger and took her heart back. She walked away that day free of the control that had pinned her down for 10 years. She felt empowered and scared, yet calm and refreshed. She had discovered the last lie... The last and final lie he would be able to tell her unguarded heart. She promised only to guard her heart from him. Family and friends thought, as much as he had put her through she would never be able to trust again... Limiting her chances of finding someone to love her the way she deserved to be loved.... Unconditionally. But love found her. The kind of love that sees broken pieces and thinks they are perfectly broken. Love that saw fear in her eyes and held her hand. This love made her feel safe and eased her anxiety. For the first time she felt like she mattered. This love made her the most happy... And that's all her new love wanted... Happiness! TO BE CONTINUED.

The Moments She tried to convince him he wanted her- loved her and needed her. He knew her so well. He could not convince her other wise. So he thought... She always said actions speaks louder than words... I will show her... breaking her down so slowly, to insure she could never repair the damage. When he thought he had taken everything from her heart he looked at her one day, as she was broken and crying on her knees, he said "We are over! I am done with you! Try to find someone else... No-one will want a single mom of two! I damn sure wouldn't and don't"! With that she left thinking he had died! She could look in his eyes and see nothing!! The man she fell in love with had died to her. Some time had passed, and he saw she still had a little bit of hope. So, he roped her back in, built back some trust and she thought he finally realized what she knew for years. He had never intended on being with her. However, Just when she believed his words again... he knew her love had over looked the lies, drugs, and affairs in the past. So to truly get rid of her he decided to break her down once more and be free to have his own selfish #life... And he did... Luckily for her the children motivated her to push forward... Out of hope for her own #life she slowly gathered the pieces of her broken heart. She did not mind it back herself in fear it would be held together only with bitterness and hate. She turned to family and friends to help her hold her heart in place while she slowly regained self esteem and confidence. They pieced her heart back together just as slowly as it had been torn apart. BUT THIS TIME.... She was stronger!! He didn't realize with all the loneliness he forced upon her, actually forced her to dig deep for strength and self love. She had discovered herself again... And she was free!! Every night before she goes to sleep she says "I am happy! I am healthy! I am free"... TO BE CONTINUED

How? I Tried How can you say you love me in this coldest month of the year? How can you say you'll join me in this time of joy and cheer? AND HOW CAN YOU... Do absolutely nothing, but bring me to tears? I have slowly lost trust, in the love of my #life. I have done everything you expect from a wife. It's time to grow up now you childish little boy, and stop playing with my heart as if it were your toy. I've tried to tell you, #life is not an easy game but if we stick together it might be somewhat tame. Its so hard to blame it on one single thing you've done. BUT as YOU SIT AT THE BAR... drink to all the old fun!! Merry Christmas to you and the #life you throw away! Merry Christmas to me and the #life I'll have one day!!
