I read the note with my hands shaking and my lip quivering. Rob has been gone for two weeks on Guy Time with his buds. He sent a note to me explaining he is not coming back and that I should never tell Jake, when he gets older, about him. Hally should be here in no time from Kinder Care, and she thinks it's daddy day. She will be heart broken. In a smaller envelope inclosed in the first was a legal paper of divorce. The door slammed as I heard "Daddy!!! Are you home yet?" Then the baby was awoken from his nap and screamed. "HALLY" I cried out "the baby was sleeping, he always is when you get home. Daddy is taking more time away. He left to Hawaii. We'll talk later."
