Why? Why all of a sudden do I feel so out of place What have I done or said that has made me such a disgrace I try to fit in in everyday #life But I feel like its just lies and it cuts deep like a knife When i speak they nod their heads but I don't think they really listen It shows that their thoughts are elsewhere just by the way their eyes glisten And when they smile at me it looks so fake and strained It's the little things like that that leave me so pained

When I'm at my saddest and I've lost all hope When I can't do anything but sit around and mope When in my chest I know only hurt Not hope, not happiness and I can't trust my heart When I'm blind to all but my own treacherous pain When I feel trapped and held down by everything from shadow to chain That's when the paper becomes my arms The pen I hold in my hand becomes the knife that does the harm And the ink is my blood that's spilt across the perfect white paper and stained it

Lying upon this empty bed my heart inside is made of lead It feels like it weighs me down a ton Like its putting pressure on my lungs I'm finding it very hard to breath And still this pain inside won't leave The lead grows cold inside my chest For my suffering does not seem to want to rest It seems to be growing colder still And these dark thoughts are hard to kill

Sorrow No one hears my petty cries My ears are filled with others lies No one sees behind the mask In peoples sorrows some may bask Behind this mask my tears are shed For my happiness is long gone and dead And In its place lives only fear The answer to my problems are not yet clear

School I'm done with work I'm done with school The teachers are so mean and cruel This place is evil this place is hell It's where these little minions dwell I sit imprisoned in this room So small and dark; my personal tomb
