In The Background... Its funny how something as simple as words put together with sound can have a major impact on your #life. By this i mean songs and music. i love all types of music, i have it on in some form or another all day. i work with it in the way of photographing bands. i follow it discovering new artists and get a real buzz when i find some new up and coming artist. i listen to radio 1 everyday have my favourite djs, Chris Moyles and Fern Cotton both for various reasons but mainly because they both love all types of music. Music has comforted, inspired and energised me through out my #life. A particular song can be played and it instantly paints a picture of some event or memory thats attached to it. For instance the morning the death of Lady Diana was announced, The Verves Bitter Sweet Symphony was charting and became instantly associated with the pain of her death and no doubt lots of others. On a happier note The Temper Traps "Sweet Disposition" is my song for just chilling. The Muses track "Knights of Cydonia" is my driving song, i instantly feel happy free and well a bit high *giggles* my foot goes down on the accelerator and well i just have to pray no traffic police are about. I once got caught at 140mph on the A1 driving to that song Oops !!!!

Silence I don't feel safe in my own home. He's angry with something iv done or not done, im not sure which. I try to keep quiet to say the right thing but i know it makes no difference. He will stay that way until it suits him not to be. I become silent and small, i become timid and like a mouse, i sit trembling in the corner, shivering at the anger directed at me. But i never cry, not in front of him thats mine, my release for when he's gone. After the punches have stopped and the pain arrives i release my tears. Alone i kneel and cry, i mourn what iv lost. The tears like a waterfall soothe my soul. They give me strength to fight my silent fight to survive against him another day... Sky xo
