Magic There are stories that inspire us, guide us, give us hope; then there are those that lead us. Some illuminate our dreams, setting the fire within us. They take us to another place, one that no one will understand but you. Music sends our bodies on a journey according to its tune; the lyrics help spill our thoughts in front of us. Making our troubles and lives make sense. Helping our memories last a little longer and picking us up when we are down, getting us high. High on the truth that #life is what we make it. Don't let the small things and hurdles break you. Take what you can and give more back. Open another door, then another; swap your chess pieces, your cards and turn another page. This is your #life, our lives. Words, art, music, beauty, love; it's all magic. It'll be anything you want it to be and you'll find it if you look hard enough. We may not have wands and spells, but we can always create our own magic using the beauty that surrounds us all.

Change I wrote this in year ten; all those years ago and found its words scribbled on a burnt piece of paper. Even with age, it's words still breathe some truth. So I hope it stands as a short reminder to you that change can happen if you want it. Good or bad; take a chance, change your job if your not happy. Stay at home if you want to watch your family grow, go explore the world if you feel like an adventure. Our #life isn't set in stone: Change If you want change You must reprint over your canvas Soon that canvas will become too engulfed in paint That it will no longer see another change It'll be a blur of lost colour Blended into one Change becomes apparent and frequent So, that canvas will become two, then three And soon your #life will become a paint shop In which your masterpieces will shine. Or will we continue to fight Fight through the distance and sea, Always remembering what will be Once we hold hands again Together we are complete Holding me up when I'm down Inspiring your words as you put pen to paper Crumbling up ideas you think are wasted But words are powerful Each have meanings to us all So pick up those thrown And pass them on... Familiar Faces I'm listening to familiar sounds; as their voices echo over the words. I've missed these sounds; together they are complete, one. No matter what we say, we will always find a way. A year of distance, time and change; many would've considered our friendships to be broken. But like a puzzle; together we are complete. Our words flow and spill around the fire, like lyrics into a mic. Nothing can take away times like this, they are the days we will remember. Like a blur its come and gone far to quickly. But as I listen to the sounds, I'm not scared of the next goodbye; I know this is the start of our beginning. We will all be taking different roads; dealing different hands; but I know that we will always find each other. Always.
