Broken We lie in his bed and he starts kissing me, touching me, and holding me. He touches me, caresses me, and pulls me close to his chest. He strips me down, piece by piece. I strip him down to the beauty God gave him. When we are naked, nothing but flesh, we experience the most passionate love ever made. The world disappears and nothing is left. But when we are done, he rolls over and he says 3 words I never thought I would here after the love we shared. “I hate you” My soul leaves me, and I'm lost to the darkness forever.

Bitten His skin is pale, white as fresh fallen snow. His fangs are sharp as daggers. He is a vampire, creature of darkness. We lie in my bed and he starts kissing me and biting gently on my neck I touch him; stroke my fingers across his bare pale, muscley chest, knowing that he is really there. He opens the top buttons on my shirt, exposing my bare shoulders I wrap my arms around him and clench his shoulder blades. When we are ready, my shirt off and my arms around him he starts biting on my neck, barely piercing the skin. As he does this the adrenaline rushes throughout my body and I say two words I never thought I would say, “Change me” In that instant he bites down on my neck and drinks my sweet crimson blood. When he is done, I feel the venom from his fangs flow through my veins. And he utters a single phrase “Welcome to the dark side”

Dance We stand alone on the stage. There is no audience, We are alone. We were just rehearsing our act For the show in June, A comedy skit. But suddenly you stop, And look into my eyes. You take my hand and stand me up. Then you hit play on my iPod. And the classical music starts And fills the room with its sweet sound. Suddenly I’m not in an empty auditorium, I’m standing in a ballroom, Cinderella at the ball. And we dance It’s not a waltz, a tango or a ballet. It’s all our own. And as you push me out for a spin Then take me back in I look into your eyes. And I all I can see Is pure love. The love that only exists in fairy tales. And as our dance comes to a close You pull me to you And embrace me in a long and passionate kiss But you pull away And my fairy tale Comes crashing down

Thoughts #life. Change. Pain. Love. Science. Evolution. Faith. Belief. Peace. Death. Tumbling together in an eternal ellipse. Never pausing. Without one the others are nothing. For what is #life without change? What is change without pain? What is pain without love? What is love without science? What is science without evolution? What is faith without belief? And what is death without #life? Nothing. Together they keep the universe in balance and hold us together. One can not exist without the other. They spin in the never ending circle of #life. What if love did not exist? Then there would be only pain. What if change did not exist? Then there would be no evolution. What if there was no peace? Then there would be only death. What if #life, had never been created? Then there would be nothing, and only nothing. #life, change, pain, love, science, evolution, faith, beleif, peace, death. Nothing without another.
