Friday 22nd October 2013 They say something always happens for a reason. I don't understand how there's a reason to this 12 year old boy losing his #life. This innocent, lovely, lovely boy. Why him? He'd never hurt anyone and he was lying on the road in front of a bus, breathless. He didn't deserve this. I wonder why the bus didn't stop and I'm wondering why he didn't stop. Maybe the driver didn't see him, maybe he didn't see the driver. I hope little Matthew is with peace above us, I really do. It's not like he asked to get hit by a bus. But who knows what was going through his little mind? He could have seen the bus and allowed himself to keep walking. That would make this situation so much more unfortunate. I didn't know him well, but if I did I wish he'd have talked to me. Maybe he didn't have anyone. Even more unfortunate. That little boy I barely knew but saw him around school, with his cheeky grin. Oh his smirk to himself was adorable. I want his friend and his family to get through this in one piece. I hope they don't suffer for too long as they should think of ways to celebrate his #life and stay positive. When something like that happens it's a little easier to say than do. My thoughts go to little Michael, Matthews one and only true friend. They stuck together being a little harder to understand compared to the 'typical' teenage mindset. I hope Michael copes, and even though he will never see this, perhaps God Willet him know he's not alone and that he could talk to that older girl who also doesn't have many friends, the girl with long hair and pretends to be happy a lot when she really wants to, quite ironically, walk in front of a bus. I hope little Matthew knows I'm thinking of his accident and him. I really do hope he knows I miss knowing he's alive having fun with little Michael. I really hope he looks over little Michael, little Michael will need little Matthew more than ever right now. You didn't deserve to die this Friday night Matthew, you really didn't. I hope you travel the world in your sweet dreams, darling. I hope you accomplish everything you wanted to in #life, because there's nothing to stop you now. You're free. You truly, truly are.
