Jade Chan Jade, the color of her eyes, beautiful like flowing waterfalls, color of gems and stones, which decorate the Crystal Jade Palace. Buddha and The God with 8 arms look over her everyday. A dragon with claws , elephant tusks, Jade's nails, the ribbons on her hair, a waxed figure of her, the gems on her prom dress, the pendant on her chest, the bracelet on her wrist, stone grapes, big gem dogs outside her door and several tall plants are all the color Jade. Jade lives in a palace, where she is surrounded with money, wealth, and power. One day Jade dreams that she is in her own jade-colored forest, full of jade- colored Chinese trees, jade waterfalls, along with huge, smooth jade stones. Jade climbs a jade vine with her jade colored Nike shoes. She sees a beach full of jade turbo shells and finds carvings of animals on jade rocks. Her jade ring slips off her finger and falls in a hole on the ground. This hole has a treasure of jade beads, and out comes a jade flower. This girl turns around and sees a woman come out of her jade-colored house. "Would you like jade-colored handbags and accessories?", the lady asks. This lost girl wakes up from her dream in fright and discovers that no matter how much you have, you can still be sad. Jade also realizes everyone has their own inner beauty. The detailed carves of dragons on gemstone gave her a feeling of awe. Her duty is to be what she desires. A golden angel named Castiel stands out from the rest of her jade-colored room. He says, "Jade, do you crave to be saved from the hell you live in? Here, come with me! This time you won't see Jade everywhere".
Eveland I fell down the pond during the summer near my house and when I got out of the pond, it was freezing cold. (I woke up to a unknown place.) " I need a coat", I said seeing my breath in the air. "Here", a young man said, covering me in a huge, red coat. "Thank you", I whispered. The man then started walking away. "Hey! You can't leave me here. Where am I?"' I said running towards the stranger now. He pointed at a huge sign above a red brick house and it read, "Eveland". "Eveland? But this is supposed to be America", I said. The man looked confused, " America? Never heard of that place. Is it nice over there?" I stopped walking and looked around. Next to the house, were many big houses, many being stores. There was a coffee inn, a mini mall, a indoor pool, a skating rink, a clothing store named Magnolia's, were many of their clothes had floral designs. Everything was arranged in circular rows, just like shark's teeth. In the middle of everything was a 12 foot fountain. It was the most exotic thing I have ever seen. Everything here is so perfect. The houses and stores are so nice and as I kept walking I realized I was stepping on snow. " It's much nicer over here", I said astonished. The place started getting crowded, and many people wore costumes. Some were witches, others were part human and some other animal. " Is it Halloween here?Sorry I didn't dress up", I said in disappointment. "What's Halloween?", the man asked. "You all don't dress up?" "No, we all are like this", the man asked, as he got a cup of green liquid. "But your not dressed up and what are you drinking?" " I like to stand out, and this is Kiwi juice. Most people often get Taza". "Taza? I'm confused! What is that?" " Apparently both of us are with each other ma'am. Taza is a clear drink that contains a blend of mysterious flavors. Some people say that some of the ingredients come from huge, purple plants down South". The person who served the man drinks turned around to face me. "Oh God!", I yell, almost falling from my stool. The one eyed person with huge pointy ears looked confused and said, "What's the matter woman? Wait... Are you from around here?" "No, I'm from America." The one eyed person then says, " America? We here have never heard of such a place. Here, have some Grool Goo". This second stranger gives me a huge red drink that looks like Kool-Aid. "Umm..thanks", I say. I swallow the drink in increments, and to my surprise this drink is better than pink lemonade! "I must have another!" "That'll be 20 eves. The first drink was given as a warm welcome", the pointy ear person says. "We don't have time for that! Come unknown woman. You must know the ways of our strange kingdom!", the man now replies, gripping my hand, making me run to keep in track with him. "Where are we gooinn.." Freezing air hits my face, and I wrap myself around the man as he launches off the ground like a bird. I can't believe it! I am flying!
A Perfect Description Of Me (From the view of objects) She is a lonely girl, says the unmade bed, near the red wall; a nice girl too, says the bathroom mirror, who sees her everyday; and a fan of stories, shows, and movies says the television. But not a failure, says her homework, stacked inside rows of thick books. Her parents don't help her, says her phone who contains several messages from her friends. Music is one of her inspirations, says the music player with low battery who needs to charge. Grades were not good back then, says the paperwork from years ago. That's why she went to therapy, whispers the picture on the wall. No friends were made till freshmen year, says the plant on the porch, who needs water. She recovered, says the apartment wall beside her door. The doors in her apartment say she is mysterious but she no longer suffers of the tragedy of years ago. The clothes in the small closet say that she has a kind heart, full of compassion, and feel her warmth. Where is she? Her old teddy bears along her bed feel lonely in a plastic bag, inside the small, dark closet. She is not a child anymore, they say in sadness.
Morning Night Our love is like a strike of bright lightning Moving fast through the blackness of the sky We do not leave love behind when fighting Our love blends and mixes like rainbow dye If night were to cut you to shining stars People will stare at the sky to praise you Fighting shall take place all the way to Mars To get your stars where the ocean is blue Who am I? I am Juliet, the bright sun And you Romeo are the beautiful night Having to live without night is not fun Oh no! It's dawn, why must night leave my sight? The end has come but I refuse to go Four our love is still there, tied in a bow ( Actually a sonnet made after Romeo & Juliet)
