The Walk Wow, I'm alone There's no one else home It feels kinda strange But in a way a nice change So what will I do? To whom shall I talk? I ponder for a second or two Then decide to go for a walk Up the hill I go With walking boots on It's gonna be tough I know But maybe I'll bump into John Last time we met How can I forget His smile and his dog Welcomed me out of my fog A stranger and his pet So familiar and yet Made me stumble my speech Whilst I studied my feet His eyes too inviting My conscience was flighting Did he guess how I felt? How he made my heart melt? He says his goodbye 'until next time my dear' I reciprocate then sigh And think: You're the reason I'm here!
