Just wanting to get this out there. @opuss thank you for giving us all this wonderful piece of software to trial out our scribblings and giving us a community and audience. You really are the best. (You can hear a however coming can't you?) However, just wanted to say that making a 'comment' via I-Pad is frustrating. You can't see the comment box as the keyboard covers the area. Clicking to see what you have written (hiding the keyboard) just shows the first part of the message. So a little bit 'rrrrr'. Could this be looked into? Not all of us on here have iPhones! Apart from this really happy with what you give us. To the Opuss community I know I haven't been writing that much. Real #life has been a hard mistress and has been a distraction to my lyrical bent. Also, if anyone is following me, my latest efforts are quite dark. Regrettably my sister has been diagnosed with cancer. My baby sister passed away due to this insipid enemy, so not my usual bright and cheerful self. I do read your works(as much as I can). Also, despite the 'mood' I am starting to write again. All I would like to add to this missive is, to my followers; thank you for your comments and constructive feedback. Thank you for looking in on my little efforts and I will, hopefully, will get back to my regular poetical rhythm (rhyme not withstanding). < a poetical joke? Hmmmm. I am still 'wool gathering' my #poems for possible publication. It is actually helping me and has caused me to find a bit of time to attempt a scribble or two. Within this world I cease to astound the people I love, Deep is the mire I have sunk under the sky above. Time moves over to cover the veil, No longer the person they want to hail. Morose in my wandering so I do tread, To talk to me, others do dread. Alone in my thoughts of discomfort and gloom, Awaiting an insidious internal doom.

Cancer Miasma of black surround my heart, To fight, to duel to get you apart. Sickening dread of ghoulish thought, Rise from within to scream 'depart'! Decrepit DNA and RNA strings, Bring change to many things. Eating and drinking lacking brings, Pain and pressures within me stings. The plastic bag sits at my side, Taking me on a chemical ride. To attack the depth of malignancy aside, Tablets a gumbo surround my bedside.

The Colours of #life Blue is the colour of sadness and frowns, Azure lapis covers the downs. Red is the colour of passion and fire, Crimson scarlet hue to aspire. Mellow pink to cheeks do bloom, Pillow down and brightened room. Nourishing green of the grass of lawn, Crisp, tender shoots cows are drawn. Yellow is the sun shining above, Warming bright light fills us with love, Regal purple to dress the king, Neither red, nor violet is its thing. Orange is the strangest of them all, It’s a fruit from a plant that is so tall. It is also the colour of the setting sun, Now my #poem is finally done. End note: The change in seasons got me thinking about colours and this came out of my thoughts. Hope you enjoy it. Leave a comment if you wish.

Opus to Opuss I had a problem one fine day, My IPad connection went away. I tried to reset and lost my Opuss, Trying to get back was such a fuss. I couldn't reset my password, you see, IPad doesn't have that function for me. No IPhone to assist to sort this out, Creating another profile was a bit of a route. Then one day Opuss contacted me, Writing in email to, well, see... If I was ok as they had missed me so, So I told them my problems and Opuss said "Oh!.. Given the facts, here's a dummy password. " So I tried, and it works! So now I can be heard! End note: @Opuss thank you for your assistance. Looks like I have dropped mightily in the rankings. Then again, that's due to not writing.
