Having just been to London for a few days I came back with presents for you all to share with me. A great big dose of 'ill'! Full of a cold, thumping headache and a really dodgy stomach (too much information? Trust me, it's not enough if you ask me.) London was amazing though. As a visitor, I mean. It's very easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the working #life there, but if you take a step back and disassociate yourself with it all, it's a really remarkable place. So much to see without the world and his wife pulling you in all directions as to what to peruse next. It all became apparent when walking back from a show we went to see. Walking down a main road at 11pm and it was packed as though it was midday, yet just around the corner and it was like you were in a ghost town. It gave a completely different feeling. Like it was a different place altogether. What other city can do that?! It begs the question though: How many secrets does this city hold? I don't mean 'government secrets' conspiracy theorists constantly bother themselves with, but genuine "never-seen-the-light-of-day" kind of secrets. The city talks. I would love to speak its language.

Limerickery Result! Forgive my lateness of the announcement. Alas, my Mother's Day celebrations extended a little further than expected! Planning ahead, I took my iPad with me, yet in my haste, forgot to pack a charger. Schoolboy error... Terry's Logic #RIPTerry We have lost one of our brightest stars. Such a fantastic writer, you cannot help but be drawn into a universe meticulously created. A world so tirelessly built, you can actually feel its inhabitants mourn it's terrible loss. It makes me wonder: "Why try to change the world when you can simply create one?"

Limerickery Firstly, I would like to thank @leelee101 for selecting my Opuss! It definitely makes the groans from the better half as I was tapping away late into the night worthwhile. The theme I have chosen for this round is "pets". We have two dogs and a cat which this household seems to revolve around sometimes, but that being said, we love them to the#moonand back! I will keep this open until Sunday afternoon (about 140 GMT) and will choose a winner shortly afterward as I am away for a few days from Monday and may not be able to choose until I get back.
