Before And After Ouran | Chapter 1 (Prologue 1/2) Kaoru lived with his mother, a famous fashion designer, in New Orleans. He loved to help out his mother in the shop so he met many different people and was very social. He was always kind to the customers and put others before himself. He and his mom then had to move to Japan at the beginning of his first year of middle school because his mom got a new shop at Japan that was much bigger than the one they had in New Orleans. Ever since Kaoru was little, he remembered fuzzy images of his brother. He was not ready for what was going to happen in Japan. (Chapter 2 on collaborator's wall)
