Paw prints I seek, As a milk carton leeks, An 'innocent' meow i hear, Hiding at the couch's rear, I peer and two eyes I see, Now behind the statue's knee, I approach with a laughing smile, My kitten now looking away a mile, She pretends she's done nothing wrong, Her face as if she's wearing a thong, I reach out to her soft silk like fur, She headbutts my hand with a playful grr, I pick her up and show her whats she's done, She looks up at me and says sorry mum, I gently hit her nose so she understands it's bad, She excepts it her face looking embarrassed a tad, Her black fur I feel as I hug her later, Soon after she walks to her bowl her face saying excuse me waiter, I give her food she eats it quickly, Happy and full she purrs thickly. On my lap, She takes a nap, Belle alseep on my knee I laugh at the day, I look to my right and see another milk carton Belle tried to hid away!
