Seeyalater What's the word for when You're family is more than Just blood? When you walk a wet street In an intermission of clouds and "you alright mate?" -you speak short and "I'm on the bounce mate, Seeyalater" He says "Seeyalater" and -Means it Because this town ain't to big enough for the both of them. This place has A heart And it's people must all flow through it. It may have shades of black to it. Not uncommon But it doesn't deny itself The shameless sameness Shared with everything in it.

Moving In It has all come to a head, The decision made: I'm moving. I'll take the least familiar step To live and to love under the same roof. I had a plan, once To live out my twenty somethings With a #life long friend But #life long has a knew meaning, And I don't want to wait. I was more afraid of the face that received my mind changed, Than the prospect of a one-bed apartment. I felt more guilt than apprehension, Which only proves my decision made. For if I feared a future Half of a hole Then I could succumb to my regret, But I love her and I want to be - half of one #life led.

Tents In The Park There are tents in the park where I live. The canvas garrison of a strong-willed few, Warring one more futile war - However much their cause is true. Because it's only heads that are turned, Not policy - Not the ever-turning wheel of hypocrisy That mocks me from that constant guffaw of monopoly. And it's sad. Because those lives that 'ignore'- Aren't ignoring. A far greater need has caused us to care for, The humbled lives in classrooms, hospitals or In any place where your decisions aren't just yours- Where they look to you to provide All that which, you cannot deny, Is their right. We can only see it through. The world can't stop, However much it needs to. There are tents in the park, near where I live.

The Samurai The cautious morning Brings the worst of warnings- It seems that dawn brings war- Sing Monstrosities on the western wind, Peace and safety made of porcelain, Not time enough to see the outer gates swing closed and death floods in, On steeds, armoured in streaks of sweat beads, and with it swing blades that reek flesh Clean in pieces. The outer reaches of civilisation teaches us nothing without the sword fierce with- Righteousness. End the mortal #life of a samurai, Who stands and fights where others will live where he will die, A faded cry, Another star added to our night sky, And with him, fifty corpses to the burn pile. His sword played teeth to men pushed in as raw meat, They circle round him, The floor littered with those he forced to find peace. The man clad as a Daemon, Fell to the fearsome number of assailants, But as payment, Took fifty men, headless, to gain him entrance to Heaven. -AB
