Boy She scratched her ear, shaking black hair in frustration as the midges swirled around her head. Her eyes screwed up against the sun, she could just see Jake lying face down on the ground, magnifying glass to his eye he watched some tiny creature wriggling through the grass. Smiling she enjoyed the peaceful sight, loath to drag herself away she sighed gently then pushed herself upright. "Five more minutes Jakey" she called..... Jake turned and grinned, a megawatt smile that made her heart ache as if bruised. Amy stood and gathered up the blanket, gently brushing grass and leaves off as she surveyed the area for forgotten debris.
