Snow The cold engulfs the rain, Freezing it into snow, A shower of white, Swirling and twirling, Until nothing is left at all.
A Memory Stepping out and into the rain, It pours down, Washing away all worries, Bathing me in glory, Making me dance, Making me sing, And he sees, His chocolate brown eyes catch mine, My cheeks ablaze, One step, He smiles, Two steps, He taps stretches out his hand, Three steps, Only a touch away, Only one step closer, But a blink and he's gone, No longer present, A ghost. A dream. A memory.
