Goodbye, Friend This isn't my normal #poem post or whatever because today its actually important. This morning at 30 AM, a close friend of mine put a gun against his head and pulled the trigger. It almost makes me mad that someone could be so sad as to not find a single reason to live. If you're sad and reading this, please listen to me! You're going to get through this! You're going to make it, just keep fighting! Please, please don't give up. Someone somewhere out there loves you and taking your #life would only hurt them more than seeing you in pain. Just talk to someone, I wish he talked to me.
The Key She had a key, A very special key, A key to the door Of her love. She gave that key To a special he, Who tossed it away For drugs. Never once Did he use that key, Unlock the lock That bound she. Never once Did he ask her, What should I do? Where should I use it? He simply threw it out, As if it were trash, Into the rain, It made a splash. She found the key, That special key, But instead of giving it away again, She kept it. She hasn't handed it over, In fear Her lock Won't be undone. But part of her wishes, Part of her hopes, That she can chance it, And get the results. Until that day, Inside a secret box, With a secret lock, That oh so special key will stay.
Shadows Are Watching Around every corner, Underneath every stair, A shadow hides and waits, A shadows sets its snare. In every dark depth, Of every crack and cevice, A shadow smiles, A shadow strains its neck. They watch our every move, They plan every next, They feel our emotions, See the hairs stand on our necks. They can tell when we are frightened, They can see when we're afraid, The feed off our darkest emotions, And flee from the ones of light. In every dark space, Of every dark place, A shadow hides, A shadow waits.
