Strutting around with great pretense Fighting for those with no defense Happy endings, without suspense Unto the eyes I look and see The soul of the loved, in harmony Telling a tale of love and peace Kindness and love is what they preach Respect and care is what they teach Kindness and love for all and each! Monsters! Monsters! Creeping, lurking, hiding, stalking! Moving through the shadows It's a game of hide-and-seek Monsters in the corner Feeding on your fears Hiding in the shadows Pouncing when you're near They hide beneath the bed And watch you while you sleep Be sure to check the corners And don't forget the closet Feeding on your flesh They live for just one taste Lurking through the shadows They move in for the kill! Prying on the youth They love the smell of fear Peering 'round the corners They watch you day and night Screeching in the dark Screaming in your dreams Living in your thoughts They're sure to cause a fright Strange shadows on the wall Scarring you was quite a ball! 22/1/2013

The Raven Calls The Raven Calls Hark! Hear the Raven's call How it beckons with its tone So bright and surely never dull How it pierces to the soul Ringing in the dead of night Run in terror and in fright You can run but you can't hide From the Raven's deadly flight Hark! The Ravens coming now Take you all it surely will Watch it fly in for the kill All is silent but it's not still Moving in a frightful motion Sure to cause a quiet commotion Keeping #life in its rotation For the Raven is the end of all Hark! The Ravens come and gone And you are safe for now But this is not the end, no not at all The Raven never stops, it never stops Always hunting, always flying Striking when it's least expected No point in fighting the predicted For the Raven always wins Hark!
