TEA There's something about tea. Coddling your favorite cup with both hands to keep them warm. Scrunching up your shoulders and closing your eyes on the long drag of the inhale. Exhaling it all, ridding your mind of absolutely everything... Taking that first sip and transporting to other worlds. Wishing and dreaming; and then praying that you don't have to open your eyes back to reality.
Calm after the storms Overwhelming #depression comes with weeks of rain. Her eyes, once full of stars; ever changing galaxies became flooded by monsoons. Her head and her heart are at war. Eternally struggling between what she wants and what she needs. Logic shouldn't always win. Love needs to be victorious every once in a while. But today she is just thankful for the sun.
Sometimes people come into our lives who we never expected. At the perfect time when we need somebody. Someone who moves so fast and so chaotic like a tornado. Someone who tears your walls down and makes you care. Someone who makes you break all your rules. Someone who makes you think and dream and wakes you up from the stale, stagnant every day motions. Someone who shakes your bones and puts a fire in your belly. Someone makes you feel everything stronger with every fiber of your being. Someone who flips your whole world upside down and you can't do a damn thing about it. -- And then just as quick as they came, they're gone. You're not sad, or angry, or bitter. You're not hurt, or lonely, wondering what you did wrong. You know it was time for them to go. You don't regret one minute You're a better person now because of them.
