YOLO You Obviously Love Owls

Rage When the average human male or female sits down, on his or her sofa, they expect to usually be entertained. There are many ways in which a human male or female can be entertained. Some are actually rather dull, others I don't think I can talk about in this. (Hint, hint). What I can talk about is reading and films. Stereotypically, the woman would sit and read a book where as the man would watch a film; or they would both watch a film about a book in which the woman, (who has already read the book) will say how "Away they went from the original story", and on the other hand the man will say "that was f***ing BRILLIANT!". These are of course all stereotypes and as such, are not necessarily true. I recently watched "the Hunger Games". I found it quite an interesting film. (By the way I have actually read the book.(well half of it)). I liked the film a lot, partly because I fancy the actress who played Katniss, and partly because generally films have a different and arguably better way of making tension or showing emotion where as books find it harder to do this. (I am counting out "50 shades of grey for the obvious reasons). The thing is, coming back to my original point here, is that films often attract more of an audience because it has one thing 21st Century books don't have. Moving pictures. In medieval times the only way to pass the time was reading or pillaging. Or executions if you are that kind of person. But since the television was invented, I think books have literally been thrown out of the window. But what can books do to compete with a television? Audio books. ??? Really? I know it's a last attempt but really? I accept having someone else read it for you is nice but half of them don't sound like they fit the part. David Tennant did very good audio books but that's about it. The only good person to do audio books for me is Morgan Freeman. If he could read every book in the universe than I could die a very, very happy man. But wait, what's this... The Amazon Kindle. Tah dah. Hazzar. Wait what's that public? It doesn't give you the feeling of a new book? Piss off. I admit I thought that, but then my mum bought one. They are fantastic. About 5000 times more practical than any hardback and you can't leave a horrible bend mark where the page has caught in your bag. You can buy an Amazon Kindle now which is as cheap as chips. (Cheap chips that is. Not those fancy dancy chips that cost a fortune). But wait, you can only read books on them? THAT'S THE WHOLE FUDGING POINT YOU HALF WIT!!! If you want to watch a film on it go by a Kindle fire you rich sodding... LlamaLad

What Is Opposite Day? If I go to get my hair cut but I must speak backwards, Then surely it makes sense to say I'm not. But if you think about it too long and work out what you are saying, Your brain starts to get a little clot. I'm not going to get my hair lengthened, but surely then this is true. I can't quite work it out myself, how about you? In addition, I might add, if we are being pedantic, It isn't your hair being cut, it is quite the opposite. But whose to say what's opposite of hair? Is it being bold? Oh where oh where oh where. Oh where is that universal book of differences to say what's what? I don't think I won't start not thinking... Oh stuff it, stuff the lot.
