RedLine PROLOGUE It's hard to say when everything fell to hell for us. I lived in the poverty-stricken district of the city called District 9 which is located on the very outreaches of the city. Everybody was so poor that the bank sectioned off our area into what became District 9. A District of people who wouldn't be able to pay anything we owed and therefore the flow of money to us from the bank was halted. Because of this, the already falling apart district came to ruins. With no money buildings rotted and people died. When the plauge came, few survived with a lack of doctors to mend the sick. District 9 was quarentined and forgotten. A large fence was built with barb wires and guards. Disease stayed contained to 9 and all was well for everybody, except us. CHAPTER 1 I was awoken by the sounds of those tourtured by their own thoughts, as i usually was.
