Broken There was once a girl so young and sweet, Who wrapped her hair and seemed complete, But the truth is that she needed love, Before she met the gods above. At school she'd laugh and play all day, But when at home she'd go astray, She'd run upstairs and lock the door, And slowly fall on to the floor. Now when this girl picked up her head, She crawled across her broken bed, She opened her drawer and took out her friend, A friend with which she would never mend. This friend of hers kept calling her name, And told her that she was to blame, So she took her friend upon her wrist, And screwed her hand into a fist. This same thing went on for years, But soon there would be no more tears, The cuts she made went deeper in, Now she forever has pale white skin. This was the story about a girl, Whose sad short #life was all a whirl, And still some people question why, She never ever said goodbye.

You never ask how she feels, If she feels happy or sad, But the truth is it doesn't matter, Because she'll lie everytime. At school she looks so happy, She looks healthy and bright, But at night when she's alone in bed, All she does is cry. You see her at the weekends, You never question why, But she wears long sleeves and trousers, In cold winters and hot summers. The truth is that she has demons, Hiding inside her mind, They're telling her she's ugly, She's stupid and should die. The problem is she listens, So she grabs a chair and rope, Now everyone will see the truth, She's been dying all along.
