The Greedy Cat There was once a kitty, A cat that was so bright, He lived inside a city, And he was such a sight, He had his own apartment, He earned alot of money, He always pays his rent, And handles his own key, But the cat had a problem, He was so full of greed, He didn't care about the poor and those in need, His relatives had debts, And they were very poor, A few of them were sick and knocked on his door, They said "Can we have some money, We just need a bit, we don't want to lose our house, where we can sleep and sit.", The cat refused, and bragged of what he's gonna achieve, He told his own pa to pack up and leave, The cat will die so lonely, without a mom or dad, Even his siblings defied him, they thought that he was bad, Remember this lesson, Remember this cat, Give the poor some money, Remember where he sat, In his apartment with lots and lots of dough Did not have anyone to love, he had sunk so low.
