This Hole I drown myself in a sea of sin The tide pulls me in and I let it win Can barely see through my flooded eyes Will anyone notice through my disguise? I’m chasing this dragon but not to kill She’s the only one that knows how I feel I admire her braveness, she’s never afraid So I inhale the smoke from her burning flame But this hole inside, it does not heal Do all I can to suppress how I feel This hole deep down is dark and cold And holds the secrets of a story untold A painful feeling that won’t go away Don’t want to live to see another day When my body has no more smoke inside No choice but to face what I’m trying to hide All this confusion and pent up aggression These are my thoughts when facing #depression ##poetsin
