The Siren Call I see the#moonshining bright, it lights the dark blue skies and as it sinks to flee the sun we hear the Siren cries. The moss green rocks, glisten, glow, shine an emerald ore The ocean waves, the sirens hide on the cold sand floor A day goes by, the Moon is back and with it comes the tide The Sirens sing a sickly song as they no longer have to hide. The waves above them thrash with rage, but Sirens feel no fear They spy troubled ships above and sailors to lend an ear. The mossy rocks, the Sirens mount to harmonise as one, little do they realise the worst is yet to come. La la la the Sirens call, the sailors can't ignore, a ship of fools to add their souls to the endless ocean floor. The Siren songs tell a tale of misery and woe, "I'm lonely, so lonely oh Sailor, please take my heart let's go. Alas I'm left here Sailor, you leave me here to cry my melody gets sadder, with each ship that passes by, why don't you love me Sailor, please say that you'll come back, to rescue me from darkness, darkness cold and black. All I ask dear Sailor, is for someone to adore so please rescue me dear Sailor from this ocean floor" The Moon slinks away again, the Sun comes out to play the Sirens' sadness weighs them down no sailors here to stay. I'm In Love With My Friend Start at the earth Slowly you rise Gently moving Thoughtful and wise, Two long columns Smooth and firm, Hold a jewel That makes me squirm. You extend a hand And slowly start To feel the jewel As I feel my heart. My heart is racing My mind is alight We seem so wrong Yet you feel so right. The columns excrete A clear light sob, The fluid trickles It does a job. The jewel is pulsing The jewel grows hard, You whisper music Like a young Queens bard. Now on your feet You pull me near, My heart beats wildly My mind unclear, You pull my face in I draw breath now, You lean towards me Then take a bow. You look at my eyes Emblazoned with fears You nod your head Then leave me with tears. I come to my senses And race to the door, You've left me a note But whatever for. Your quill must've shaken Your writing is smudged, There's a tear ever present I feel I misjudged. You write your words warmly, You tell me to sleep, You ask me to promise, That our secret I'll keep. We cannot go further, We cannot be one, For if we commit, The friendship is done. Our love would be tragic, Our love would cause pain, Harm to our friends, And to those who we feign. Our love may be strong, And our bond may be pure, But it just seems too risky, For us to endure. Yet the cycle repeats, Another letter you've left, Saying no to our romance, You leave me bereft.
