Day Two : C.A. Cupid As soon as I stepped out of my dorm, Blondie Lockes was swinging about in her lolita-like dress, humming outside my door. Analysis time! Blondie Lockes, daughter of Goldie Lockes, news reporter of school, and she's a Royal. "I have a question for you," Blondie Lockes cheered much too loudly. I waved my finger onto the surface of my lips, causing Blondie to shrug defensively. "Your match-a-doodle things are really working out and all-" Blondie started, while I held my breath hoping she hadn't pried into my non-existent list of ex-lovers. "So I was wondering and, like, totally considering that you should have a section of the webcast to, like, help with people's love problems!" Blondie smiled, and then added, "It's a popular request, so I kinda have no choice but to make you do it." I ignored the last part. "That. Sounds. WONDERFUL!" It was then my turn to be told to turn down my volume. I mocked Blondie by shrugging the same way she had, but she paid no attention to it. "Great, meet me later- just- sometime. Anytime. Whenever you're free from whatever it is Cupids do!" Blondie's speech seemed like it was swirling all the time; like a hamster wheel. I also took note that she twirled her hair as she spoke. Perhaps I could pair her with Sparrow Hood or somethi- no. I will not spend all my time pairing, I will try to learn something, too. Ah, lunchtime, probably the worst time of the day. Everyone crowds around the same tables, trying to sit next to Apple White, or get a glimpse of Raven Queen and Madeline Hatt- wait, what's she doing there? No matter. Madeline is "mad," after all. I was about to sit next to Raven Queen when the floating smile appeared and turned into the strange girl once more; "You can't sit here," she twirled her hair between her fingers. I had just realized how contrasted she was; her entire outfit was shades of lavender and black. "This space is for Rebels only," she continued, pursing her lips and widening her eyes in sync. "Shut up, Kitty. You can sit down, Cupid." Raven insisted, nudging the strange girl in the ribs. The strange girl disappeared. Raven Queen caught my worried glance, "Kitty's the Cheshire Cat's daughter. That's where she gets the-" Raven coughed to get her attention, "Annoying attitude." She said rather loudly. The strange girl, who was now Kitty, gasped as she appeared, seemingly falling off her seat with surprise. "I'd ease if you would stop throwing everyone under the bus," Raven said with a mouth full of turkey sandwich. "That was ONE TIME!" Kitty Cheshire held up a shaky finger. "Besides, everyone knows that Cerise Hood is part wolf now!" Kitty said, although the "Cerise Hood is part wolf now" seemed to echo a feverishly peculiar amount of times. The lunch hall went quiet immediately, everyone looked at Cerise, then Kitty, then at their lunch. "Way to go, Kit," an unknown voice whispered. Kitty scoffed and faded into nothingness. I wouldn't blame her, because if my words echoed so many times, then I would do that, too. I decided that I should meet with Blondie that day, so that's exactly what we did. To make a long story short, most of Blondie's responses were, "Awesome!" or "I totally get that!" until we both decided that a great time to add me on to the show would be tomorrow. We ended our meeting on Blondie's note, "Don't forget to study for the science and sorcery test!" I almost forgot. Professor Rumpelstilskin was our torture teacher, which is code for science and sorcery teacher. He basically, no, literally wanted us to fail. He even said it himself, "Can't wait to see you all fail!" Briar Beauty suggested a study party, but I politely turned down. I felt Regret hit my stomach with an axe when everyone else cheered, "I'll go! Yay!" Briar Beauty let me come in anyways though, she must have forgotten exactly who had wanted to go! By the end of the night, we all knew the Periodic Table by heart and were singing Professor Rumpelstiltskin's lectures to all the top fifty songs of the week. While everyone else worried of failing still, I was more worried about Dexter- would we be able to break our destinies to be together? No way. Would I woo him to me in my show tomorrow? Not likely. I was fresh out of ideas, even though I've only seen him once. What will I do once I've seen him ten times? --- Love sucks for Cupid, if you can't tell. Thank you all for showing some hearts. It fueled me to write this chapter! I'll try to write up the fourth chapter by tomorrow, don't forget to like so I know you've read and liked it! I'd also like to send kisses to the reposts I got on my last write. Bless you all.
