Poetry Day I was told today was 'National Poetry Day' and the theme was stars. I swear, though, it seems to be 'National Poetry Day' about 7 times a year! Ps. Retrying Opuss again!
I did the impossible yesterday: I got sunburnt in Britain. Specifically the area which gets confused when the sun comes out and shelters from the strange thing in the sky. I think it's a world record but I'm not sure.
The Value. Find the value of X. Friendship, kindness, love & danger, At first an impossible, devious stranger. To me it waits With potential It's bait, To a mystery Of mathematical history And stays. What do you think? You wouldn't know, Could be high could be low, Always changing, Infinitely ranging. Maybe X simply equals Y, Even then I wouldn't try. The values could be great, In many, different ways But X, to me, is quite dear Even if it's a little queer, It believe it belongs just here. xxx
Words. When words lead the way, straight across a page They remind me of soldiers marching, Searching helpless yet still brave. Trapped inside a book Solid, still, never swaying Chained into their place of Waiting. Waiting. Waiting... Their #life is little for hope of an emotion, Shall they bring sadness joy or maybe commotion, Mad though it may seem, Half a second or even less dead, Absurd, worthless, A word?
