He Fell In Love With A Werewolf Chapter Five Midnight I stared at my watch in shock. It's almost midnight. Who knows what's out in the woods. Especially the howling. I have to go home. Like now. I stood up,and slowly walked towards the opening of the cave. I checked my watch again,it was 11:45. Crap. Now I'm scared. I started to run but I was careful enough not to trip. I felt heart beating quick. Even though I knew I was running really fast at the same time it felt like I was going in slow motion. Like if it was a dream. The thing is,it was nightmare. The one I can't escape. I can't wake up from it. Like how it was with my family. Everyday was a bad. It sucked. Soon I let my clumsiness get the best of me,and fell. I sat up and looked at my watch. It was11:58. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I wouldn't make it back home so I didn't have any choice but to turn back to the cave. I ran as fast as I could back up the cave. Before I set foot on the inside the cave,I heard the howling. It sounded bold. It sounded brave and was like it was ready to own the night. I slowly walked toward the opening of the cave. I peeked outside. I saw nothing the moonlight shinning through the darkness. After a few more howls,it stopped. There was literally no sound. It somehow made me feel really uncomfortable. I took a couple of steps back as I got startled by a noise. I took a few more steps before hiding behind a rock. I sighed and closed my eyes. Soon the wind started to blow,the trees being to shake,and crickets began to make noise. As I leaned my back against the wall of the cave,I heard a huge growl. Soon I heard a lot of howling after that. But the growl grew louder and louder but it seemed like it was in the distance. Wow,imagine if I was right next to the wolf or whatever it was. I peeked outside once again but find nothing but the moonlight melting the darkness away. I let out a shaky sigh. I was a bit scared but I have to stay here now. Might as well get use to it too. Besides I was closer to the howling,not too close but close enough. I lied down on the surprisingly soft ground. I closed my eyes. I started shivering from the wind blowing. Again the hollowing kept going but I was still calm. Even though I had no idea what was going to happen next.

He Fell In Love With A Werewolf Chapter Four This Place I arrived back home and went into the house. I looked at my watch and it was 5:40. "Derek! Where the hell were you?!" My dad hollered. "Ugh I thought I told mom that I was going to the woods! You and mom never listen to me" I said. He looked at me angrily and got up from his chair. He walked towards me. He got close to my face. "You will never talk to me like that again!" He yelled and slapped my face,causing me to stumble. I felt the hot tears stream down my face. "Go to your room! And you're not going to get any dinner tonight either" he said. I looked at him in defeat and walked quickly to my room and slammed the door. I hated my #life. My bother and sister never gives a damn about me. My mom never even looks at me and when she did,she looked disgusted. Why me? What was wrong with me? Why can't I just be loved? Maybe I was a mistake. Yeah a mistake. I'm a mistake.... I looked out of my window,looking through the darkness. It was still early so there wasn't any howling. I think it would be weird if there was no howling. It's like I need the howling. Most nights Im feel like Im just torn to pieces and cry to sleep but it's always with the howling. It fills my mind with wonder and I like to keep it that way. It was 7:15,ugh still early. I just wanted this day to end. I got up from my bed and looked out of my window. I stared at the tangly forest below me. I looked at the sky and saw the mountains swallowing the sun. I saw a few of the stars come out in the lightish blue sky. I sighed and rested my head against the window. I hated the attic. This was my "room". I walked around. There was nothing interesting. Everything was boring. I had no friends to talk to either. My brother and sister went to school but me. Instead my parents made me do the house chores all day. I just hated it. Why can't my parents or anyone just love me? I just need somebody. I looked at the window. It looked very interesting. Then I had the thought of sneaking out there. I should. I might have an adventure. I could find a place to escape the misery and be entertained. I have to find this place for me and only me. No one else can find me. I could just go to that place and have no care in the world. I could be happy there. Now that I'm thinking about it,this place already sounds amazing. I opened my door and quietly walked downstairs. I peek in the living room,and see that my family is still awake. I go the other way,to the back door. I opened it and carefully closed it. Luckily I had my flashlight with me cause it was really dark. I walked a little before checking my watch. It was 8:20. I looked around and went straight. I saw the trees letting the moonlight glow through them as I looked up. After an hour,I looked at my watch,it was 9:30. I waved my flashlight around and saw a little cave. This must be the spot. I ran towards it. I looked inside and it was just perfect. I sat there,admiring the cave. I just absolutely loved it. All I need is to put a few stuff in there and I'm all good. He Fell In Love With A Werewolf Chapter Three Who Is New? "Um where are we going?" I asked nervously. "Somewhere" she replied. "I know but where?" I said a bit stern. "I don't know. We are just walking" she said and looked at me. "Where are we walking to in the woods?" I said anxious. I should've never come with her. This was clearly a bad idea. "Stop with the questions and move along" she commanded. I stopped at my tracks and said,"Well I'm going home. I don't wanna come with you. I hardly know you". She looked hurt but kept walking. I sighed and went straight on home. Nora's POV. There he goes and heading back home. I wish he could still longer. Anyways I guess I should return to my place also. My family must be waiting and wondering where I am. I stopped and sniffed. Then I walked straight on home. I looked at my watch,it was 4:30. I sighed in relief. I still had to go home. I couldn't wait to tell my sister Maria that I found someone who lives next to the woods and he was an incredibly cute boy. My mom,dad,sister,brother and I are all werewolves. We turned to them at midnight. When I turn into a werewolf,it hurts really bad so I howl. After that,I just howl for danger,hunger,to scare things off or just for fun. Maria and I love to do that. My little brother Ron does little howls which I find adorable. Anyways I'm like a dog too. I sniff to get to know people and I start to get attach once I like the person. There's other things too about me but I rather have people find out. I really like Derek. Though he seemed nervous and it was like he never talked to anyone really. He just seemed lonely. I can sense it. I mean I can tell there's something not right. Not him but maybe..gah! I can't think of it! I need to see him more to know but also cause I like him. I hope he soon likes me too. There's no one new I met but him. I quit school after middle school after that..mistake. I ran to my average house and barged right in. "Hey Nora! Where have you been?" Asked Ron. "Just went exploring" I replied. He cocked his head in confusion. I hardly ever go exploring cause I know almost every inch of the forest. "Oh..okay. Are you looking for Maria?" He asked. "Yes I am. Where is she?" "She went out hunting with dad and mom. They told me to stay here until you came back. Then he started sniffing at me. "You smell...different...did you meet somebody umm.. new?" He asked in shock.

He Fell In Love With A Werewolf Chapter 2 Strange The sunlight crept up to me as I opened my eyes slowly. I sat up and looked outside. I saw Jiley and Adam with our parents. Having a good time without me. No one bothered to try to wake me up this morning or....should I say every morning. Oh well I guess I'm use to it I mean,what else am I going to do about it? I threw the blanket off me and hopped out of bed. I did my morning routine that was to take a shower,put one my clothes,and eat breakfast alone. I was use to this routine so I probably would find it weird if it changed. Anyways I opened the door and head outside. "What are you doing here?" My mom Angie asked. "Just going for a walk in the woods" I replied nicely even though I was annoyed. I walked quickly into the woods. I thought I could find the animal that keeps making the noise. I kept walking until I heard someone following me. I turned around and found no one. So I went along my way until I heard it again. But when I looked,all I saw were trees and bushes. I kinda got scared then. "Mmm" someone moaned. I looked around me and then heard it again and again. I turned back and started running back to my house until I tripped. "You alright?" Someone asked behind me. I turned around lying on my back and saw a girl. "Um yeah. I'm fine" I said as I struggled to get up. She looked at me strangely and walked around me too. Like if she was looking for something. "What's your name?" She asked still looking at me. "Derek" I replied looking at her as well. "Nice to meet you Derek. My name is Nora". She said still looking at me. It was strange. Really strange. "Nice to meet you too". She started sniffing and stopped. "Well Derek,you look nice and smell nice too" she simply said. "Th-thank you" I stuttered. I was clearly blushing now. She started to walk away and turned around and asked,"Um aren't you coming?" I looked at her confused and then back where came from. Well I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a little adventure even though I only met Nora. When we walked,all I could see was the trees shunning the daylight,only allowing darkness in. I couldn't see and I became uneasy. "Where are we?" I asked. "We are in the woods Derek. Where else would we be?" Nora asked. "I was just wondering" I trailed off. Somehow something seem strange. I felt strange,the woods looked strange, and Nora acted strange.

Everyone Grows Up I thought a lot about the #quote,"Everyone Grows Up". Well that's true. Sometimes though when we grow up,we become the person we fear, or hate, or even said what we would never be. We could prevent that from happening as long as we don't let things get the best of us and try to be ourselves. We'll still grow up but a least we are who we wanted to be. -Cindy
