Medusa was the daughter of phortkys and keto. She was one of the three sisters known as the gorgons. The other two sisters were called sthenno and Euryale. Medusa's son was Pegasus.Medusa was the only mortal out of the three.First medusa was a lovely maiden!She loved poseidon god of the sea,but one day she forgot her vows.As she forgot her vows,athena goddess of wisdom and war puished her. Medusa's hair turned into venoumous snakes,her love filled eye's changed into blood shot menacing eyes!Scared of her appearance she would get she fled to Africa.
