Saturday Night We sat on the roof doing what we were supposed to do. Drink and laugh. They go hand in hand when you are 26 and lost. But as the cabs honked in the background and the wind blew over our faces I realized we were lost together.

    June The summer heat came on us like the routine of an old T-shirt. One sleeve at a time until we were covered with that comforting feeling.

    I don't know where you are, but where I am, the heat came on more like an itchy sweater. It's just uncomfortably humid. Nice metaphor though~ 😄
