The Monster House The evil winters wind shimmied its way up my spine like a spider and the rain hammered down on my bare uncovered head, chilling me to the bone. The house before my feet looked down on me like I was scum, and I slowly crept up to knock on the big, rotting door. The door creaked like one thousand mice, then opened to reveal a horrific sight. A monster, with huge, menacing spikes and horns with truly evil eyes that dug into my soul. Then I saw its dagger teeth as it opened its mouth to be as big and round as a tyre. I never saw daylight again.

The War Oh how I wish this war would end, and that I could only pretend, that I was happy with my family and not standing, sinking in the muddy centre of this war field. The time has come, it's only just begun, but the day feels like forever and ever, not to be ended. I know nothing makes sense, everyone around me is so edgy and tense, but I can carry on fighting until I can break away and live freely once again.
