I wrote two paragraphs randomly, what do you guys think? I love listening to constructive criticism since it helps me write better. A surge of light beamed through my tightly closed eyes, forcing them to open with a shock so forceful it's as if I could feel my pupils shrinking by the second. I raised my head, releasing a large sigh of relief as I saw it was only rays of sunlight stretched through the broken gaps of my boarded window. I studied the light, wondering how so much had slid through the haphazard crack, I was almost positive it wasn't there prior to this morning. Tilting my head back and forth, I was mesmerised by the iridescent lights whilst the murky window projected a large shadow which spiralled around the concrete walls of my attic. I twisted onto my side, swinging my legs over the frame of my solid and uncomfortable bed. I could feel the jagged edges of mahogany which was cut so rapidly and extensively before greeting a large moaning creek that my oblique floor bellowed in arrival of a foot. I studied both of my feet. Charcoal black which creeped up my calf, completely shredding all of my leg hair before leading to my soft, white flesh nearing my knee. The thought of not being able to wash until tomorrow made me groan in exasperation and I instantly felt no sympathy to the gruesome tasks I'm going to have to perform later this evening.

I can never think of what to share on Opuss, but thanks everyone for reading my short stories. I'll write another one soon.

Darkness & Despair I feel blind, engulfed by darkness and isolation. The only thing I can feel is the cracked concrete ground. My senses are slow, and my movements haphazard. The only sense I can work is smell. Slowly, I siphon the petrichor from my surroundings, forcing my nose to tingle. And as I'm looming through the silence, I suddenly see two bright red eyes, illuminating my own drowsing ones in their reflection.
