Starry Skies: Prologue Rain descended upon the enchanting town of Asteria one starless night. The cobblestone streets sparkled from the illumination of the lamp posts. It was under one of those same lights that a little girl was curled up. Her hair streaked down in silver ribbons, a light blue cloak slipped around her with pale feet poking out. She was lost,cold,and scared. For hours, no one had found her. She began to think no one ever would. "Child, why are you out in this weather? Especially at this time of night?" The little girl looked up,her golden eyes lighting up with hope. Before her, an old woman stood, her face marked with concern and curiosity. Forest green eyes bore down on her. Again, the woman spoke, her voice soft and sweet. "What is your name,little one?" To this, the girl hesitated, her voice shaking. "Ayla" "Well, Ayla, how would you like a hot bath, some food, and a place to sleep tonight?" Ayla nodded and the woman stuck out her weather-worn hand. It was as if the sun had began to peek through the clouds, and then, as Ayla took her hand, she was immersed in sunlight.
