Not So Simple : Chapter 3 A bright light went into Alyssa, Maya, Kai, and Masons eyes. I quickly took it out. "Sorry!" I apologized to them. "It's totally okay," Mason rambled, "It happens all the time; I mean it's your first try; I mean it's not your fault; I mean–" "She gets the idea!" Alyssa scolded "What do we do now?" Alyssa asked. "I don't know," Kai shrugged, "try to continue our lives." "NO WE CAN'T!!" Maya yelled, "It wouldn't be as cool." I honestly didn't know what to do. Suddenly it hit me. "Our parents!!" I stressed. "They're looking for us!" My house was the closest so we ran over. We all ran through the front door. "Tell my parents I'm okay!" Alyssa bellowed. Everyone else nodded to agree. "Oh!" My mother exclaimed in a high-pitched voice, "I completely forgot about all of you!" That was so like my mom, to forget me. "I'll call your parents, but for now, you can stay here if you'd like." It was already pretty late and it took a while for Maya, Alyssa, Kai, and Mason's parents to get here. "Alyssa's mom's car broke down so I'm picking her up," My mother called to us.
