Prometheus How can a film be brilliant and unrewarding at the same time... Well, I found it. Not surprisingly Prometheus doesn't hit the heights of Alien but then this was unlikely. Ultimately it therefore disappoints. Alien is brilliant through its simplicity - Prometheus is far more complicated and suffers immediate recognition because of it. I think it will improve from repeat viewing as the themes are interesting. Provides the background to the Space-Jockey found in Alien. Nevertheless beautifully filmed and worth the admittance fee. I will be buying the DVD.
