The Coming The sky was black with angry cloud as day slipped into night, And darkness like a cosmic shroud laid claim to earth's bright light. Then from the North a cold wind rose to blow cross moor and glen, And on it's breath a chilling sound that froze the hearts of men. Tremors in the earth grew strong and cracks began to show, Like thin black snakes on sunburnt soil they twist and turn and grow. Then from their depth, like serpent tongues, fierce flames lapped at the air, Spewing forth the fires of Hell for all mankind to share. And on the wind that chilling sound much louder than before, Like the awakening of thunder from thunder's very core. Lightening like laser beams rapiered the night, Slicing through the veil of smoke that screened the world from sight. Then, from out of nowhere, a calmness hugged the land, The earth was still, the sky was clear, and peace seemed close at hand. But as the final curls of smoke spirraled out of view A stain appeared upon the ground, and here it slowly grew. Like thick black tar it oozed and seeped from earth's wide open sore, Growing and dividing, first two, then three, then four. And as four they rose above the ground to stand some eight foot high, Four pitch black midnight stallions sillouetted by the sky. But the stain continued growing and grew to greater heights, Till on their backs, from Hell it's self, sat four black hooded knights. Armour black as onyx, like a moulded second skin, Weapons drawn and ready for the carnage to begin. The prophicy was now complete and Satan had give birth, The Horsemen of the Apocalypes now stood upon the earth.
