A Day In The #life Of A Lion It was a dark and misty night, the perfect time for going hunting. The others refused to go with with me, they didn't like the weather so I set off myself. I didn't want to go too far away from home, but there was nothing out here. I could hear tree twigs snapping and cracking when a deer peered around a tree. I was in luck. I didn't want to scare my pray away, so I moved slowly until she looked up and spotted me. She darted off with me falling behind. I felt a sharp pain hit the back of my neck and everything started to go blurry. I fell to the ground and I saw the deer running away. I sharply opened my eyes. I was in this strange place. Some sort of small box, I could see these strange creatures staring at me. Pointing and laughing. I thought they were mocking me. One of them was talking about men. Describing me as tall, golden fur with big blue eyes and a main as soft as wool. He called me Symba. The next morning I was wakened by a loud banging sound. It was one of those creatures hitting the glass and demanding me to wake up, but I just ignored him. He did it again, he was getting louder and louder. I ran up to the glass and growled at him, but he couldn't hear me and made a face. My heart was pounding, I felt my face burn up like fire. I was bored, tired, stressed. I planned to escape the next morning. That morning I paced up and down waiting for someone to appear, when someone finally did. She opened the gate slowly, she could see that I was ready to dash out but I was waiting for just the right moment when she wouldn't expect a thing. She placed my food in the right side of the corner when she took her eyes of me and I sprinted for the door. A loud alarm set off while I was finding away out. People wee screaming and running away. I could see an exit gate but it was about to shut. I ran as fast as i could but it was too late. I could hear footsteps people were coming for me, I tried to find another way out but I was locked in. The people were in white suits. I roared at them so they would retreat, but they didn't. When I woke up I could hear the humans talking about a new comer, saying it would share the cage with me. They didn't say much about it, just that it was female and her name, Leah. They said that she was coming in later today. I had to tell her that this was a bad place. That evening I could hear the humans shouting. "Open the gate quickly!" It was Leah coming in. I hid in the right side of the cage so I could surprise her. The human let go of her chain around her neck and shoved her in the cage. I pounced at her. Her face was so familiar. "Mum?"......
