First things come first First thing's first, I don't expect to change the world, or even be heard. I have so much more respect for people who choose NOT to be famous. Everyone has skills and talents, but quite regularly in today's world skills and talents aren't what you need to become a somebody. Have you ever been the first person told a secret? Do you laugh about memories with your friends that no-one else understands? If you have, then you'll know how much more flattering is it if one of your friends chooses you to share their time and thoughts with (a little ironic, given the nature of Opuss, but imagine a friend telling you this). I believe the solution to our celebrity society logically follows: abuse supply and demand, and squander your skills and talents. Don't share them with the world: a monstrosity of faceless, nameless, judgmental people spawned in a society built upon skin-deep intentions and cowardice. Share them instead with the ones who matter. How much more valuable are your skills and talents if only shared with the ones you care about most and how much more flattering for them? Be like those of us who would rather casually live their lives, around those they love, for those they love, than one of those who want to be in that lupine limelight. After all, today's celebrities are society's prey. In the spirit of QI I leave you with this thought: is the meaning of our #life on this planet to work, spend and judge others? Don't expect light humour and false friendship if you choose to read my feed; expect much more.
