Beauty Of The Blind The sun feels warm on my face, soft on my skin. The grass tickling my fingers as I skim their tips. The earth cold to my back as I lay on its surface. I hear the birdsong so late in the afternoon and the whispers on the river not far from my side. And I smile. I have never seen the sun or know the colour of green grass. I will never see how the seasons change the running stream. Nor will i ever know just how black a blackbird is. But still I smile. I may not be able to see with my eyes but I can feel for the warmth of my soul, just how beautiful #life can be. I smile.
